Welcome to BLOCK Stadiums

Hello and Welcome to BLOCK Stadiums!  My name is Matt Jenkins and for about the last 10 years I have been building and creating mini custom LEGO sets.  This all started when my parents had dropped off some of my old LEGO.  At first I didn't know what to build.  I had some old Police and Fire Sets, and after seeing some massive, epic builds online- I was left even more confused on what to build.  I started building a lighthouse in the basement in between when my daughter would nap (wife not impressed).  I then discovered what is called microscale building.  Building on a small scale, trying to pack as much detail as possible into a build.  I was hooked.  This was perfect for me, because I didn't have a ton of space to build in, and I didn't want to go crazy building a huge project.  Being a huge Ohio State football fan, I decided on trying to build their football stadium, Ohio Stadium- but on a small or micro scale.  I settled on a 16x16 plate, and setup the field dimensions to be 4x8 studs.  I then challenged myself to build around this.  I truly enjoyed this, and still do.  Today most all sets, start on a 5in by 5in, or 16x16 stud LEGO plate.  This makes for a great display size in my opinion.  This is how it all got started, and continues today.  Hope you enjoy these sets.  Let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Some Recent Updates

9/10/25- Working on some more Texas UT Towers!  Excited for this fall and football season.  One of the big changes I am making with my UT sets- is now using a Dark Orange LEGO color to better mimic the burnt orange from UT.  You can see this now on my DKR sets.  I think it is a very suitable upgrade.  I also recently became licensed with the University of Minnesota.  My plan there is to make there Hockey, Basketball and Football arenas.  Just need to dial in and get creating.

5/6/25- I recently became licensed with the University of Oklahoma and am working to kit 20 Memorial Stadiums

8/7/24  What Am I working on this week?
